Project Delivery Team Lead

SUMMARY  

The Project Delivery Team Lead is responsible for planning, developing, delivering and reporting on assigned projects within scope, schedule, budget and BGIS as well as client procedural boundaries.  Renovation projects, installations and/or new construction projects and other related projects are typically of high complexity, risk and exposure.  In addition, the Team Lead is also accountable for direct supervision of project team members.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

•  Provides immediate supervision to Project Management Team Members.  Sets and monitors specific objectives and development plans for the project management team.  Acts as a role model, coach and mentor to project staff.  Participates in and provides input to recruitment, performance appraisals and training recommendations. 
• Effectively manages the delivery of assigned facility-related projects from conception to completion such as: new facility construction, facility addition construction, installation projects, renovations, occupancy-related projects and facility infrastructure projects.
• Effectively develops, oversees and manages the delivery of assigned programs of projects such as installation roll-outs across multiple locations or delivery of interrelated projects.  Ensures that program elements are properly assigned and resourced by project delivery teams.  Actively tracks and manages program progress, striving to ensure that projects are started with adequate lead time to complete within client time parameters and to meet BGIS and team needs with respect to work loading and overall financial considerations.
• Effectively executes and/or manages feasibility analysis & development of programs.
• Effectively manages projects and programs in accordance with legal requirements and BGIS processes including scope, schedule, financial, reporting, document, communications, risk, environmental, procurement & contracting, commissioning, close out and moves management.
• Incorporates sustainable design practices, where practical, into project delivery, in accordance with BGIS processes.
• Analyzes resourcing, project status, overall financial status and key performance indicators for client reporting & continuous improvement of delivery.
• Ensures proper and timely project and administrative-related reporting and systems inputs.
• Manages project delivery teams ensuring assigned projects and/or programs are delivered within fees, cost and service-level goals.
• Actively seeks additional services work to be performed by BGIS to mutually benefit the client and Brookfield Johnson Controls. 
• Provides reporting required to support BGIS and Client needs with respect to program execution.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.
   

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

• Strong organizational, documentation and reporting skills.
• Community college diploma or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience

• Knowledge of, and experience with industry standards and regulations.
• Software proficiencies related to the assignment – MS Excel, Project, Outlook; AutoCAD; etc.

Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation

• Project Management Accreditation or progress towards designation. 
• LEED accreditation or progress towards accreditation.
• Valid driver’s license. 

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $103,064 - $128,830 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education, professional designations and performance related to this role.
