The Role 

BGC is looking for a highly motivated and organized Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Vancouver team on a temporary, full-time basis. This is an office-based role, with a planned start date in May 2026 and continuing through to the end of December 2026. Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead and the Controller, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day Accounts Payable needs while practicing our values of One Team, Excellence, Curiosity, Common Sense and Clarity.

Responsibilities 

• Coding and entering vendor invoices 
• Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders
• Responding to various inquires from vendors and staff 
• Reconcile and resolve accounts payable discrepancies 
• Reviewing and posting employee expense claims  
• Managing various credit card payment requests

Required Education, Experience & Competencies

• Completed or currently enrolled in a post secondary accounting program
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated to work independently and within a team
• Highly organized
• Attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer service experience would be an asset

Wage Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $47,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. BGC's compensation package also includes a training allowance and comprehensive medical and dental plan.
