Our Brewing Team crafts a lineup of beers inspired by the nature that surrounds us, while our Culinary Team creates a menu designed to complement those beers and showcase some of the finest food and beverage in the area. As part of our Service Team, you help bring these offerings to life through genuine hospitality, knowledge, and care.
Stanley Park Brewing Restaurant & Brewpub is nestled in the heart of Stanley Park, surrounded by stunning scenery, sporting activities, and just steps away from some of the best beaches and trails in Canada.
We are currently looking to add to our stellar team for the summer season. As a Service Leader, you will:
- Participate in regular Beer School sessions to build and grow your product knowledge
- Lead the Service Team by example in a supportive and supervisory capacity
- Create a welcoming environment and deliver consistently memorable guest experiences
- Provide exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service
- Attend regular meetings with the rest of the Leadership Team
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge and support ongoing team learning
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall environment standards throughout the Brewpub
- Delegate tasks thoughtfully to support smooth operations and shared team goals
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues effectively as they arise
- Coach team members and contribute to performance feedback and reporting
- Address guest concerns, requests, and inquiries with care and professionalism
- Monitor, contribute to, and act on key performance indicators and operational targets
- Serve guests within an assigned section of the Brewpub as part of regular service
- Complete other duties as required to support the success of the team
Before you apply, please ensure you:
- Hold a valid work permit for the duration of your employment, if applicable
- Hold a valid Serving It Right certification
- Are able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Assets for this role include:
- A valid First Aid certification
- Similar experience in a fast-paced restaurant or other relevant customer service role
- An interest in craft beer, with a desire to continue learning
- Experience using Square for Restaurants POS
- Experience with the OpenTable platform
This is a seasonal position ending October 13, 2026, with the potential for extension depending on business needs. Hours and shifts may vary. We strictly adhere to all work permit hour restrictions.
